Slovak-English mezzo soprano, Lucrezia Lucas began taking vocal lessons at the age of 12. In 2013 she was granted a place at the Royal College of Music, London, to study in their Junior Department under the guidance of Liza Hobbs and Veronica Veysey Campbell. 

In order to gain fluency in German, Lucrezia moved to Lucerne, Switzerland, where she completed her Undergraduate Studies in Music, Voice, and where she is currently finishing her Postgraduate studies with a specification in Theater under Liliane Zürcher.

During her time in Lucerne, Lucrezia has been very active as an Oratorio Soloist, with performances throughout Switzerland. These include singing the Alto/Mezzo Partien from Händel’s Messiah in the Cathédrale de Lausanne, Durufle’s Requiem in Grossmünster, Zürich and Bach’s Weihnachtsoratorium in Laufen, CH, to name a few.

She has gained invaluable operatic experience by singing in the Chorus of Luzerner Theater’s Manon (Massenet) and La Traviata productions. She recently sung the title role in Händel’s Giulio Cesare in Egitto, with performances in Lucerne and Bern.

Through masterclasses, Lucrezia has had the opportunity to work with Dr.Ron Morris, Malcolm Walker, Bozena Ferancova and Sarah Maria Sun.
