Lucrezia Lucas is a Slovak-English mezzo-soprano and designer whose work spans music, space, and the written word. She began vocal training at age 12 and was later accepted into the Royal College of Music (JD) in London, studying under Liza Hobbs and Veronica Veysey Campbell.

Driven by a love of language and performance, she moved to Lucerne, CH, where she completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Vocal Performance at the Hochschule Luzern with Liliane Zürcher. As an oratorio soloist, Lucrezia performs widely across Switzerland, with highlights including Händel’s Messiah at Lausanne Cathedral, Duruflé’s Requiem at Zürich’s Grossmünster, Bach’s Weihnachtsoratorium in Laufen and regular solo engagements in Zug with the Camerata St. Michael under the direction of Philipp Emanuel Gietl. She’s a member of triodati, a Visuales project ft. Melia Inglin and Edward Rushton, and of the tempo d’affetto ensemble.

Beyond singing, Lucrezia is a spatial and graphic designer, currently studying Spatial Design at the HSLU, lead by Klaus Marek. She often collaborates with fellow musicians on visual and conceptual aspects of their work — having created numerous concert flyers and programs — and as an artist photographer. In 2022 she designed and built touring media players installed across Switzerland for the Augenlieder Collective. Her most recent spatial work includes the 2025 set ‘Bühnenbild’ for Der Kaiser von Atlantis, a touring opera production from the Youth for Opera.

Lucrezia also works full-time on the digital editorial team at Cabana Magazine, where her visual and editorial sensibilities come together in service of storytelling, atmosphere, and design.
